Mr. Perfect

This year Valentines Day was really special for me! Most years the holiday comes and goes and yes I get a gift and a nice card and not to mention an over priced meal too, but this year was really special. My fiancee and I have now been engaged for 5 months. Weird, because it seriously feels like we got engaged a month ago. Time has just been flying by and the times have been good let me tell you...So as for my Valentines day, it started off in a funny way. The flowers came, and yes they were SO beautiful, but come to find out that they weren't the ones he picked out! It went down like this....
AIM:

me: Oh hun, thanks so much for the beautiful flowers, I LOVE THEM!
him: I'm so happy you do, are they the right roses? The ones you like?
me: Roses?
him: yea
me: Um...they are Tulips
him: What?!
him: They are supposed to be roses!
me: Well they aren't.
him: Well they are supposed to be Roses
me: well they aren't so...

Do you see where this is going?

The funny thing is the tulips were absolutely gorgeous and of course I was just thrilled he sent me flowers. Because GAWD knows that every girl deserves to get flowers on Valentines Day. It's the one day of the year they HAVE to buy them. He heLate that night I came home to a dim house with candles and rose petals and uh...Champagne!! Did I mention (see above) the distinct blue box strategically placed between the champagne, the chocolate, the candles, and the rose petals?

Do I know how to pick them or what?

Later that night, we were whisked away and ended up at the Melting pot in Irvine. I must say it was REALLY good but also REALLY expensive!

Thanks honey! xoxox
Update: The day after Valentine's Day I got the Roses! Love it!
